Innovation Program Identity

Details

Client: UT Austin, Dell Medical School

Art Director & Designer: Hoyt Haffelder

Designers are problems solvers. How do you create an identity for an innovation program that is very abstract by its nature and doesn’t have any visual inspiration or draw upon? This project was tough because the program doesn’t produce innovations itself. The program connects start-ups in the medical field with industry to accelerate innovation.

I created a typography identity system using modular typography that is capable of shifting its form to fit any application. Like the program, the identity is shape-shifting fitting any form needed.
