Hexagon Brochure

Details

Client: Texas State University, School of Health Information Technology

Art Director: Julie B.

Designer: Hoyt Haffelder

I was tasked to create a brochure for a new health information technology (HIT) program at Texas State University. I was having trouble coming up with ideas when I decided to take a walk around the ponds that surrounded our building. Those ponds inspired the idea of geometric shapes that occur in nature. Thus the idea of the hexagon brochure was born.

The Problem

How do you create an impactful marketing brochure for a new program that has no visual resources to draw inspiration from?

The Solution

You draw inspiration in your environment and use it to create a unique design that is smile inducing.
